Our dark active parquet is specially smoked or fumed as known to some, to create a tanned base floor which has great colours released from the reactions of the tannins within the oak. Naturally processed to limit chemicals and minimise carbon foot prints this is created from sustainably sourced mature forests to ensure the Oak is robust enough to withstand the test of time.
